This class blends two similar styles of slower paced yoga that is suitable for most ability levels. Class will start with more yin style yoga with long held poses that offer a deep stretch to connective tissue and end with relaxing restorative yoga that provides space to help calm the mind and nervous system. Postures are normally seated or lying down and modifications are given for students to choose how active or relaxing they want their practice. Kristina, our AMAZING massage therapist will apply her healing massage techniques to help relax your even more!
For this class it is highly recommended to have several blankets and pillows available. Yoga blocks and bolsters are also helpful if you have them. The idea is to get as comfortable and relaxed as possible. A small towel for over the eyes, and essential oils can work wonders as well! Make sure to dress in layers or bring an extra blanket to stay warm!
