Our Classes

Beginning Qigong

Qigong (chee-guhng) is a low-impact, anti-aging, ancient martial art practice with proven health benefits, especially for seniors. Qigong is the basis of Tai Chi. Rather than moving forms like in Tai Chi, Qigong is done in a stationary position, either standing or sitting. This class will help the student focus on attaining better health, increasing body strength, correct head position, balance issues, and posture - all of these things lead to improved health. We will focus on proper posture, correct positioning of arms, and weight distribution for balance moves. *This is a donation based class, cash or check. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds

Slow Vinyasa

Step into a world of gentle flow and deep connection with our Slow Vinyasa Yoga class. Embrace the art of moving mindfully as you gracefully transition through poses, synchronizing breath with movement. This class focuses on nurturing the body's natural flow, allowing you to explore your practice with ease and mindfulness. With longer holds and a serene pace, you'll find space to cultivate inner peace, strengthen your foundation, and immerse yourself in the meditative essence of each pose.

Gentle Yoga

This class is relatively slow moving and conservative with optional modifications given to support your body’s unique shape. We may explore Yin, Hatha, and Restorative Yoga and will leave feeling strong, balanced, and completely relaxed. If you are looking for a gentle practice or if this is your first time doing yoga this is a great class for you! All abilities are welcome.

Yin/Restorative

This is a combination class that seamlessly combines both Yin and Restorative Yoga. This is a slow paced, highly relaxing style of yoga where each pose is held for several minutes in order to target the deep connective tissues of the body. This style of yoga is great for most levels and those looking to deepen stretches and increase flexibility.

Power Yoga

Power Vinyasa is a series of vigorous postures intended to build muscle and allow deep stretching. We will follow a Vinyasa style flow where the movements of the body are connected to the breath giving you an opportunity to create a meditative rhythm in your practice. This class will have a quicker pace focusing on building heat! If you are looking to build more physical strength, endurance, and energy, or if you prefer a Vinyasa style practice, this is a great class for you!

Heated Yin/Restorative

Gentle, deep stretching and complete relaxation. Traditionally practiced in seated and supine poses, we rest in each posture for 3-5 minutes, allowing you to relax into your stretch and target deep connective tissue. This style of yoga is great for most levels and those looking to deepen stretches and increase flexibility. The room will be heated to a comfortable 80-90 degrees to assist in the relaxation of the body.

Beginning Meditation

The purpose of this beginning meditation class is to introduce individuals to the practice of meditation, provide guidance on different techniques, and offer a space for personal exploration and growth.

*Please note: This is a donation based class, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

Alignment-Based Yoga

This class is slow and precise. You will learn skillful actions through the biomechanics of the body. This allows you to use the postures as a laboratory to explore, release, and heal long held tension and stuck energy bringing your body back into its most natural alignment. As a result you will feel more freedom, strength, and range of motion.

Pilates Fundamentals

In this class, you will focus on your breath, effectively activating transverse abdominal muscles and learning neutral spine position. You will learn essential elements to progress in full body activation exercises on the four basic positions— supine, side lying, prone, and quadruped. No prior experience necessary!
