  • Gentle Yoga

This class is relatively slow moving and conservative with optional modifications given to support your body’s unique shape. We may explore Yin, Hatha, Iyengar, and Restorative Yoga and will leave feeling strong, balanced, and completely relaxed. If you are looking for a gentle practice or if this is your first time doing yoga this is a great class for you!

  • Power Vinyasa

Power Vinyasa is a series of vigorous postures intended to build muscle and allow deep stretching. We will follow a Vinyasa style flow where the movements of the body are connected to the breath giving you an opportunity to create a meditative rhythm in your practice. This class will focus on building heat. If you are looking to build more physical strength, endurance, and energy, or if you prefer a Vinyasa style practice, this is a great class for you!

  • Vin-Yin Yoga

This class blends the best of both worlds, vinyasa slow flow with yin, in a highly relaxing and meditative practice. Vinyasa links breath to movement to build heat while yin opens our bodies to melt away deeply stored tension and release the muscles and connective tissue.

  • Slow Vinyasa

This class is a slower paced Vinyasa flow and is great for MOST ability levels. The use of controlled movements builds strength and heat as well as finds places for deep stretching. The slow rhythm allows the practitioner time to evaluate how and when a pose can be modified to move deeper into ones own unique shape without feeling rushed while still keeping energy levels high. Prepare to move in a warm room and sweat (our evening vinyasa classes are warmer than our morning classes).

  • Alignment Based Yoga

This class is slow and precise. You will learn skillful actions through the biomechanics of the body. This allows you to use the postures as a laboratory to explore, release, and heal long held tension and stuck energy bringing your body back into its most natural alignment. As a result you will feel more freedom, strength, and range of motion. Please note, our evening classes will be held in a warmer room compared to our morning classes.

  • Pilates

In this class, you will focus on your breath, effectively activating transverse abdominal muscles and learning neutral spine position. We will begin class with the fundamentals of Pilates in the four basic positions— supine, side lying, prone, and quadruped. We will end class with intermediate exercises which will change weekly.

  • Yin/Restorative Yoga

This class blends two similar styles of slower paced yoga that is suitable for all abilities. Class will start with more yin style yoga with long held poses that offer a deep stretch to connective tissue and end with relaxing restorative yoga that provides space to help calm the mind and nervous system. Postures are normally seated or lying down and modifications are given for students to choose how to active or relaxing they want their practice. For this class it is highly recommended to have several blankets and pillows available. Due to the COVID-19 health crisis we ask that you bring your own or a pillowcase to cover ours. Yoga blocks and bolsters are also helpful if you have them. The idea is to get as comfortable and relaxed as possible. A small towel for over the eyes, and essential oils can work wonders as well! Make sure to dress in layers or bring an extra blanket to stay warm in the winter! Please note, classes during the summer months may be held in a warm room.

  • Beginning Qigong

Qigong (chee-guhng) is a low-impact, anti-aging, ancient martial art practice with proven health benefits, especially for seniors. Qigong is the basis of Tai Chi. Rather than moving forms like in Tai Chi, Qigong is done in a stationary position, either standing or sitting. This class will help the student focus on attaining better health, increasing body strength, correct head position, balance issues, and posture - all of these things lead to improved health. It is a beginner's class. We will focus on proper posture, correct positioning of arms, and weight distribution for balance moves. Qigong meditations will also be taught to help the student relax so movements can flow. This is a donation based class, cash or check. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
